We believe that every kitten deserves a friend, which is why we encourage adopting in pairs whenever possible. Kittens learn from each other, provide comfort during transitions, and grow into more confident, well-socialized cats when adopted together. We’ll connect with your references and you to discuss the best match for you. At this time, we’ll also offer you links/suggestions for setting up a safe space for your new feline friend/s before they transition to their new environment.
Home Sweet Home
Once approved, we’ll have you read through and (if you agree with everything) sign our Adoption Agreement. We’ll then arrange for pickup. A donation in honor of an adopted kitten, or in some cases a cat, may be made on our Giving Page before you take your sweet friend/s to their forever home.
Adoption Fee
At Nahimana, each kitten is raised with thoughtful, individualized care in a home environment. Our adoption fee ranges from $149–$249 per kitten and helps support the veterinary care (spay/neuter and age-appropriate vaccinations), nourishment, and daily nurturing that prepares them for life in a loving home.
Kittens not yet old enough to be spayed/neutered, first join their families through our Foster-to-Adopt program. The adoption is finalized once they have been spayed or neutered. While the true cost of care is often much greater, all adoption fees help make it possible for us to welcome and care for the next kittens in need.
